Frequent Questions and Answers


  1. Can I pay my bill online?

    We are not set up for online bill-pay at this point. We do accept checks and major credit cards.

  2. Do all of the providers go to the beach office?

    Yes. Our doctors usually rotate one day per week at the beach office. The schedule is variable. If you would like to see your preferred provider, please go to the Patient Portal or Contact Us tab and request an appointment.

  3. Do you have recommendations for professional pictures of my baby?

    We recommend the following photographers who you will find do a fantastic job:

  4. Do you have more than one location?

    Yes. Our primary location is in Panama City. However, we also have an office just west of Hwy 79 on Back Beach Road. Also, as of May, 2009, we have been seeing patients in the Gulf County Health Dept. facility. We rotate our doctors there every 2 weeks. We are there every other Wednesday.

  5. I lost my booklet given to me at my first ob visit. How can I get another one?

    Our book is available on our website for download in PDF format. (booklet) (pdf 2.40 MB) You can also purchase another copy of the book at our office for $8.

  6. What can I do about lower back pain during pregnancy?

    See the "Back pain" section of your prenatal book. Here is a link to an excellent short instructional video on how to do the pigeon stretch.

  7. Do any of the providers deliver, operate, or see patients at Bay Medical Center?

    No. Emerald Coast OB/GYN chooses to exclusively use Gulf Coast Medical Center for childbirth care. The physicians also have privileges at Panama City Surgery Center and Northwest Florida Surgery Center.
