Biography
Mark Wolf, M.D. had undergraduate schooling at the University of Hawaii and the Florida State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He completed post graduate training at Louisiana State University where he was awarded a Master of Science degree in physiology. His medical training was at the University of Miami. He did his residency at Jacksonville, Florida. Following this he served in the United States Air Force where he was stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base and at Carswell Air Force Base.
After completing active duty he entered private practice in Panama City where he founded Emerald Coast Obstetrics and Gynecology.
During his career, Dr. Wolf has has been the Chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tyndall Air Force Base, Carswell Air Force Base and at Gulf Coast Medical Center and has been recognized by his peers being named to the Wall of Honor at Gulf Coast Medical Center. Also, he received the Humanitarian Award from The Bays Medical Society.
He has been an innovator in his field, being one of the first physicians in the area to perform laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomies, and the first to perform sacrospinous vaginal vault suspensions.
Although he is currently retired from active practice, he still assists with surgery and will consult with physicians regarding patient management.
Dr. Wolf's other interests include fishing, diving and playing the piano. He is also very active with his pet project, the Arctic Wolf Club, www.arcticwolfclub.com.
